GuS Periscopes Ltd based in Cwmbran, South Wales is a wholly owned subsidiary of GuS Glass + Safety GmbH based in Lubbecke, Germany. We design, manufacture, and repair custom and standard (M series) Periscopes, Episcopes and Vision Blocks for Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV, APC, MBT etc) applications. Our location means we are well positioned to service our key home and international markets with our agile team of highly trained specialists in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management.

The GuS brand is synonymous with safety, quality, and durability with over forty years’ experience in the supply of Periscope products to the international B2B and B2G markets. We have introduced core in-house manufacturing processes that are critical to ensure product performance, superior quality, and durable Periscope products within the Cwmbran facility.

GuS Periscopes Ltd is ISO9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified.

Our purpose is to “protect those who protect us”, and we are passionate about providing the best possible solutions for end users. We actively engage and encourage end users input during our iterative design and development process and allow minimal viable products (MVP) to be assessed for maximum feedback. We utilise the latest 3D CAD software, in-house optical simulation tools and rapid prototype techniques to produce MVP’s quickly and effectively for customer and/or end user feedback. We also have the ability to reverse engineer obsolete legacy Periscopes, Episcopes or Vision Blocks, or perform modifications to existing designs.
