GuS Periscopes Ltd signs a collaboration agreement with ISTEC Services Ltd

GuS Periscopes Ltd, a UK-based defence company with extensive expertise in military periscope and vision technologies, has signed a collaboration agreement with ISTEC Services Ltd to support GuS periscopes in offering customers integrated hatch, periscope and driver’s night vision solutions and to add periscopes and drivers vision systems to the ISTEC weapon mounting product range.
GuS Periscopes Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of both standard and custom observation systems, including periscopes, hybrid electronic periscope systems, episcopes and vision blocks for armoured fighting vehicle applications. Based in Cwmbran, South Wales, GuS Periscopes Ltd is the only UK manufacturer of both PMMA (Acrylic) and optical glass periscopes and is part of the GuS Group. Its electronic hybrid periscopes and driver’s night vision systems combine traditional periscope technology with innovative digital enhancements.
ISTEC Services Ltd is a British company with 36 years of operationally proven experience in the design, manufacture, supply and support of complex weapon integration solutions for military platforms. Best known for their Universal Gun Mounts (UGMs), ISTEC’s integration solutions have been fitted to iconic vehicles such as WMIK, Mastiff, Viking and Jackal, and are in service internationally with countries including the USA, Canada, UAE and other European and NATO partners. Their systems are the weapon mount of choice for the Royal Navy and are increasingly used in rotary wing platforms, including projects for the US DoD. ISTEC is a British-owned and run company with a local UK manufacturing and supply base.
